A ribbon braid is a balanced braid in a ribbon diagram.

Parameters:

  • left (pivotal.Ty) – The type on the top left and bottom right.

  • right (pivotal.Ty) – The type on the top right and bottom left.

  • is_dagger (bool) – Braiding over or under.
